Dr. Cletus Fonmedig is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to serving his community with gentle, patient centered care. Since establishing his practice in the Baltimore area, he has taken pride in building lasting relationships with patients and helping families achieve healthy, confident smiles in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Dr. Fonmedig began his dental career by earning his Dental Surgery degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria in 1997. He completed residencies in both Nigeria and at the Catholic Mission General Hospital in Cameroon, followed by five years in private practice in Botswana. His passion for advancing his skills led him to pursue postgraduate training in clinical dentistry at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa, and later earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2008.

After serving as Clinical Director for Aspen Dental in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Dr. Fonmedig and his family made the Baltimore area their home. In 2011, he proudly continued the legacy of care at Rosedale Smiles after acquiring the practice from Dr. Joel Goldburg. Since then, he has remained deeply committed to caring for patients in Rosedale and surrounding Maryland communities, treating each individual like a member of his extended family.
